"John Keppler is not only a great photographer, but he is a great friend. Keppler is basically one of my mentors, as he has helped me with my surfing and growing up in general. Keppler always gets the shot but when he's unable to, he pushes me to try harder to get it... So its all good! Keppler's influenced me to go to church with him which is really cool and I thank him for that. Getting back into going to church has helped me to stay away from the guys who are doing drugs and to stay focused on my surfing and in school. There are a couple other photographers from San Clemente, but John Keppler is one of the best because he helps us succeed with our surfing and with our lives too. Kep has been there to help me in dealing with girls, relationships, and all those other things that come up when you're 16! John has even helped me with my homework, at times when neither my parents nor I knew how to do it. Thanks Kep!"
