Half-and-full day assignment rates for sports and commercial photography are available upon request.

A. Print advertising rates are for use in SURFER Magazine, TRANSWORLD SURF Magazine, or SURFING Magazine. The photo rates below are for a ONE time use only. After the initial use in either SURFER, TRANSWORLD, or SURFING, second use in any publication will be 50% of the rates listed below.

B. Fees are for a specific one-time use and necessary scan and separation of photograph.

C. Photo sequences will be billed at the space rate plus 25%.

D. Any client who uses photo images obtained from KEPPLER Photo must inform John Keppler, either by mail or phone of any planned use. Failure to do so will result in a 25% penalty..

E. John Keppler/photo, assumes NO responsibility for photos used without model releases; it is the responsibility of the company/purchaser/advertiser to obtain model releases for commercial use of any identifiable persons.

F. Submissions are for visual examination ONLY. Images may not be reproduced, copied, projected or used in any way without prior consent or written permission stating the rights granted, agreed price and the terms thereof.

G. Upon shipment, unless otherwise noted, all images in submission are considered to be in mint condition and will be returned in the same condition they were received. If any transparency is damaged upon delivery, recipient is required to notify photographer immediately. If no contact is made within 2 business days of receipt, it is agreed that all transparencies arrived in mint condition. A minimum fee of $2,500 will be charged for lost or damaged slides.

H. Adjacent credit line for photographer must accompany image use. Photo credit should read :

I. For all non-surf publications, the fee will be negotiated.

 

J. Said invoices will be paid in full within 30 days after receipt.
