"Keppler is one of the first photographers that I had met when I was a grommet. The first year I went to Hawaii, he showed an uncharacteristic friendly attitude towards working with me and getting photos. Usually you dont meet famous photographers with a willingness to work with unknown surfers, as such was the case with me. Kep got me my first published photo in Transworld Mag, with a "Check Out" and that nonetheless helped me get the push I needed for my growth in the surfing world. Agreat person with a kind heart. He's always real, and has always treated me the same since day one. Irarely see that in this crazy world we live in, rarely!
